CCA Trucking, LLC d/b/a Good Life Freight ("Good Life Freight," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you:

  • Visit www.GoodLifeFreight.com or another website that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Website");

  • Use a customer or carrier portal that we provide;

  • Request a quote, tender or book a shipment, register as a carrier, apply for employment, or otherwise use our freight brokerage and logistics services (collectively, the "Services"); or

  • Communicate with us by email, telephone, text message, web form, social media, or another channel.

This Privacy Policy is a notice of our information practices. It is not a contract and does not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Good Life Freight controls. It does not apply to information governed by a separate privacy notice or to a third party's independent collection and use of information.

Our carrier-registration page at https://highway.com/go/CCA-Trucking is operated by Highway App, Inc. ("Highway"). Highway's collection of information through its platform is governed by Highway's privacy policy. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we receive from Highway and then control.

If you provide personal information about another person, you are responsible for having the authority to provide it and for giving that person any notice required by law.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

We do not ask you to submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, bank credentials, or other sensitive information through general Website contact forms. Provide such information only through an approved secure process when it is legitimately required.

3. How We Collect Information

We may collect personal information:

  • Directly from you, including when you request a quote, communicate with us, submit shipment information, register as a carrier, provide documents, subscribe to communications, or apply for employment;

  • From your company or representatives, such as an employer, shipper, consignee, carrier, driver, dispatcher, factoring company, or other person involved in a shipment or business relationship;

  • From service providers and logistics partners, including Highway, transportation-management, tracking, communications, payment, fraud-prevention, compliance, analytics, and hosting providers;

  • From public and industry sources, such as FMCSA records, SAFER, insurance sources, business registries, public databases, references, and social or professional networks; and

  • Automatically from your device, through server logs, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you use our Website or interact with certain emails.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide quotes and arrange, manage, track, document, and support shipments;

  • Match freight with qualified carriers and communicate with shippers, carriers, drivers, facilities, consignees, and other shipment participants;

  • Register, verify, monitor, and manage customers and carriers, including authority, insurance, safety, fraud, and compliance reviews;

  • Create and administer accounts and portals;

  • Process invoices, payments, claims, accessorial requests, and other transactions;

  • Send service communications, including pickup, appointment, in-transit, delivery, document, billing, and support updates;

  • Respond to questions, requests, complaints, and feedback;

  • Maintain records, perform audits, analyze operations, and improve our Services and Website;

  • Protect our business, customers, carriers, personnel, systems, freight, and other parties from fraud, misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity;

  • Recruit and evaluate job applicants;

  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law and consistent with your choices;

  • Comply with contracts, insurance requirements, legal obligations, regulatory requirements, court orders, and lawful government requests; and

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements and policies.

We may combine information from different sources for these purposes. When combined information can reasonably identify an individual, we treat it as personal information.

We may also create aggregated or deidentified information for analytics, planning, security, and business improvement. We will take reasonable measures to prevent deidentified information from being associated with an individual and will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

  • Shipment participants, including shippers, carriers, drivers, dispatchers, consignees, facilities, warehouses, service locations, and other parties needed to quote, arrange, track, or complete a shipment;

  • Service providers, including providers of carrier onboarding and monitoring, transportation management, shipment visibility, communications, document storage, hosting, cybersecurity, analytics, accounting, payment processing, claims handling, legal services, and other business support;

  • Affiliates, where they support our Services or shared business operations and use the information consistently with this Privacy Policy;

  • Government authorities and other legal recipients, when disclosure is required or permitted by law, regulation, legal process, insurance obligation, safety need, or to protect rights, property, systems, freight, or persons; and

  • Parties to a business transaction, in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.

We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose. We may require service providers to protect personal information and use it only for authorized purposes when required by law or appropriate to the relationship.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our Website may use cookies, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies to:

  • Operate and secure the Website;

  • Remember settings and preferences;

  • Understand Website traffic and usage;

  • Diagnose errors and improve performance; and

  • Measure the effectiveness of communications.

We may use Google Analytics or similar analytics services. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/privacy/partners. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality. Our Website does not currently respond to traditional browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no uniform industry standard. Where required by applicable law, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals for activities to which those signals apply.

7. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising

Good Life Freight does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not use personal information for targeted advertising based on your activity across unaffiliated websites or applications, or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by law before applying the change to personal information.

8. Email and Text Messages

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may continue sending non-promotional communications relating to an active account, shipment, transaction, legal obligation, or service request.

If you affirmatively opt in to text messages from Good Life Freight, you consent to receive messages relating to shipping and delivery activities, such as appointment scheduling, reminders, instructions, status updates, document requests, post-delivery follow-up, and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing Services.

We do not sell or share mobile telephone numbers or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to vendors that help us deliver messaging services, but they may use it only to provide those services on our behalf. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own purposes.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including the duration of our relationship with you and any additional period needed to:

  • Complete and document shipments and transactions;

  • Meet tax, accounting, insurance, transportation, employment, and other legal or regulatory requirements;

  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements; and

  • Resolve disputes, claims, chargebacks, audits, or investigations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and applicable requirements. When personal information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, deidentify it, or securely dispose of it, subject to technical and legal limitations.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe an account or communication with us has been compromised.

11. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;

  • Correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Request deletion of personal information;

  • Obtain a portable copy of personal information you previously provided to us;

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and

  • Appeal our decision regarding a privacy request.

Good Life Freight does not currently engage in the sale, targeted-advertising, or significant-effect profiling activities described above.

To submit a privacy request, use either of the following methods:

  1. Email info@GoodLifeFreight.com with the subject line Privacy Rights Request; or

  2. Submit the contact or Need Help form on www.GoodLifeFreight.com and identify the submission as a privacy request.

Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate relevant records. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law; for requests governed by the Nebraska Data Privacy Act, this is generally within 45 days, subject to a permitted extension.

If we deny a request, our response will explain the basis for the decision and how to appeal. You may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject line Privacy Request Appeal. If an appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general. You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law, although we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Certain rights may not apply to information collected in a commercial, employment, or other legally exempt context, and we may retain or use information as permitted by law.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Website and communications may link to websites, portals, or services operated by others. We do not control their independent privacy or security practices. Review the privacy notice of any third-party service before providing personal information.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Website and Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided us with personal information may contact us using the methods below.

14. United States Operations

Our Website and Services are intended for use in the United States. Personal information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, Services, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the updated version on the Website and revise the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice when required by law.
